Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of services by Skyline Services Sydney (referred to as "Skyline Services", "we", "us" or "our") to you as a residential or commercial customer in New South Wales, Australia. By making a booking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
1. Services
We provide professional window cleaning, solar panel cleaning, roof and gutter services, pressure washing, pigeon proofing and related exterior maintenance services as described on our website or in your quote.
We will perform the services with due care and skill and within a reasonable time, in line with our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law.
2. Quotes, Pricing and Payment
- Quotes are based on the information you provide and our standard rates.
- If, on arrival, we discover conditions that materially differ from what was described (for example, access issues or substantially larger areas), we may revise the quote before starting work.
- Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due on completion of the job by cash, bank transfer or card payment using the details we provide.
3. Cancellations, Access and Safety
- You may reschedule or cancel a booking by contacting us with reasonable notice (at least 24 hours before the scheduled time, where possible).
- If we cannot access the property at the agreed time (for example, locked gates, no one present where access is required, or unsafe conditions), we may charge a reasonable call‑out fee to cover our costs.
- We may reschedule, modify or stop a job due to weather, safety concerns or other factors beyond our control (including high winds, storms, unsafe roof pitch or structural issues). We will try to give you as much notice as possible.
4. Your Responsibilities and Fragile Surfaces
- Provide accurate information about the property and the work required.
- Ensure we have safe and reasonable access to the areas to be serviced, including any necessary keys, codes or instructions.
- Secure pets and move fragile or valuable items away from work areas where practicable.
- Tell us about any known hazards (for example, fragile roofs, damaged wiring, or asbestos‑containing materials).
- You acknowledge that cleaning can sometimes reveal or worsen pre‑existing issues such as loose paint, perished seals, damaged glass, heavy staining, oxidation or corrosion. We are not responsible for such pre‑existing conditions, or for damage that occurs because a surface or material was already unstable or beyond its reasonable service life.
5. Scope of Work and Exclusions
- Unless clearly stated otherwise in your quote, our services are limited to the specific areas, fixtures and surfaces described in the quote or booking confirmation.
- We do not undertake structural repairs, electrical work, plumbing, pest control or other specialist trades. If we identify issues that require those services, we may recommend you engage an appropriate licensed professional.
- Certain stains, deposits or defects (for example, hard water staining, mineral deposits, etching, permanent scratching, oxidisation or deeply embedded mould) may not be fully removable with safe cleaning methods. We do not guarantee complete removal of such issues.
- Any additional work or variations requested on‑site that are outside the original scope may be charged at our then‑current rates, as agreed with you before we proceed.
6. Australian Consumer Law and Warranties
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to have services supplied again, or to a refund of the amount you paid for the services, if they are not provided with due care and skill or within a reasonable time.
If you are dissatisfied with our work, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assess the issue and, where appropriate, rectify it.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and except for any liability that cannot be limited under the Australian Consumer Law, our total aggregate liability to you in connection with any job is limited to an amount equal to the fees you actually paid us for that specific job.
We are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising out of or in connection with our services, except to the extent such loss cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights or remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be limited or excluded.
8. Insurance and Damage
We maintain public liability insurance appropriate to the nature of our services.
If damage occurs as a result of our failure to exercise due care and skill, please notify us promptly with details and supporting information so we can investigate and, where appropriate, arrange repair, replacement or compensation in line with our legal obligations and these Terms.
9. Privacy
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By making a booking, you consent to us collecting, using and disclosing your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, including for booking management, service delivery, customer support and, where you have agreed, marketing communications.
10. Governing Law and Force Majeure
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non‑exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia.
We are not responsible for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where the delay or failure is due to events beyond our reasonable control (including extreme weather, accidents, outages of utilities, pandemics, government restrictions or other force majeure events).
